Terms of Service

This is a courtesy translation of the Polish original. If there is any discrepancy, the Polish version is binding: Regulamin.
1. General provisions
These Terms of Service set out the rules for using NumiStack — an online catalogue and tool for managing a coin collection (the “Service”).
The service provider is: numistack.pl, [email protected], contact: [email protected] (the “Operator”).
Using the Service means that you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not create an account and do not use the Service.
2. Scope of the service
The Service allows you, in particular, to:
- keep collections and a coin catalogue with descriptions, photos, valuations and storage locations,
- keep a list of wanted coins and track the completeness of a collection,
- get artificial-intelligence assistance in describing coins (AI scanner, filling in fields from photos and listings),
- import data from auction listings, and export data and reports,
- share selected coins and collections through public links.
3. User account
To use the Service you must create an account using a real e-mail address. The user is responsible for keeping the password confidential and for actions taken with their account.
The Service is intended for adults. When registering, the user confirms acceptance of the Terms and having read the Privacy Policy; the date of this confirmation is stored with the account.
One person may have one account. The user should notify the Operator without delay of any suspected unauthorised access to the account.
The demo account (if available) is intended only for getting to know the features of the Service; the data in it is sample data and may be changed or deleted at any time.
4. User content
The user retains all rights to the content they enter (descriptions, photos, notes). For the purpose of providing the service, the user grants the Operator a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process and display it within the Service, including through public links created by the user.
The user declares that they have the right to the photos and content they upload and that publishing them does not infringe the rights of third parties. Photos taken by others (for example from auctions) should be marked as such in the coin form.
It is prohibited to enter unlawful content or content that infringes personal rights or copyright, and to attempt to disrupt the Service, circumvent its safeguards, or place excessive automated load on its infrastructure.
5. AI features and valuations
Results generated by artificial intelligence (coin identification, reading of legends, descriptions, suggested parameters) are auxiliary and indicative. They may contain errors — the user should verify them before saving.
Valuations, prices and indicators (for example collection value, profit/loss) shown in the Service are not an expert appraisal, a market valuation or investment advice. The Service does not confirm the authenticity of coins.
By using the AI scanner, the user agrees to the transfer of the selected photos and content to an external AI model provider for the purpose of the analysis (details in the Privacy Policy).
6. Availability and data backups
The Operator makes efforts to keep the Service running without interruption but does not guarantee that there will be no interruptions (for example failures, maintenance, or unavailability of external providers).
The user can export their data (CSV, JSON) at any time, and making regular backups in Settings, in the “Backup” tab, is recommended.
7. Liability
The Operator is liable for damage caused to the user under the rules set out in the law. To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for damage resulting from incorrect AI results, purchase or sale decisions made on the basis of data from the Service, or loss of data resulting from the user’s failure to make a backup.
Consumers have rights that cannot be excluded or limited by contract.
8. Suspension and deletion of the account
The user can delete their account themselves at any time in Settings (the “Session” tab → “Delete account”) — the deletion is permanent and covers all collections, coins and photos. They can also request it by writing to [email protected]. The Operator may block or delete an account in the event of a breach of the Terms, after first calling on the user to stop the breaches, unless the breach is gross or threatens the security of the Service.
9. Complaints
Complaints about the operation of the Service can be submitted to [email protected] or through the reports tab in the app. The Operator handles them within 14 days of receipt and informs the user of the result at the user’s e-mail address.
10. Changes to the Terms and governing law
The Operator may change the Terms for important reasons (a change of features, regulations, or security considerations). Users will be informed of changes in the Service or by e-mail at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means that you accept them.
Matters not regulated here are governed by Polish law. Consumers may use out-of-court dispute resolution methods, including the ODR platform available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
